Volunteer to Prepare and Serve a Meal or Donate Food

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Ka Hale A Ke Ola.  There are many opportunities to volunteer to feed the homeless on Maui.  Between our two locations in Wailuku and Lahaina, Ka Hale a A Ke Ola provides thousands of meals each year to men, women and children.  We couldn’t do it without the support we get from the Maui community.

3 easy ways to volunteer:

ORGANIZE A FOOD DRIVE to help us fill our pantries. Collect items like peanut butter, tuna, canned soups and canned vegetables which can be used to fill our monthly food boxes that we provide to those in need, and to feed our residents.  Toiletries including tooth brushes, toothpaste, shampoo, diapers, etc. are also appreciated.

PREPARE AND DROP OFF a ready-to-serve entrée in a large disposable pan and let us take it from there!  Or, make a night of it and stay to serve it!

SPONSOR A DINNER With this option, your organization would purchase, cook and serve an entrée, a side, and a dessert. Rice, salad and drinks will be provided by our staff. You can prepare a favorite recipe or it can be as simple as picking up some pizzas from Costco. See sample menu ideas.
