In-kind Donations

We are so thankful to our beloved community for kind offers of donations.  We rely on the generosity of the community to help operate our homeless shelters as well as meet the needs of our participants and provide them with the best and most comforting experience. Your gifts offer a warm welcome to our participants, helping them feel safe and aiding in their overall journey to overcome homelessness.  However, due to limited storage space, safety, and hygiene considerations, we have a limit on the types and quality of donations we will be able to accept.

High needs items:  new unused pillows, towels (new or gently used), bed linens (single and double only, new or gently used), washcloths, soap, razors, rubber slippers (new and all sizes), large plastic storage bins (new), bus pass certificates, $10 gift cards to Walgreens, Longs, Walmart, Target, Foodland, and Safeway; universal phone chargers.

Other items needed:  shower curtains, deodorant, body wash, bar soap, toothpaste,  men’s boxers (new),  toilet paper, reusable plates, cups, silverware, pot and pans.

Items we CAN NOT accept:  used mattresses, used socks and underwear (women’s or men’s), home decor, stuffed animals, open food or toiletry containers, leftover food from large group gatherings, children and infant furniture.

Volunteer

We’re so sorry to say that due to the COVID-19 Corona Virus Pandemic, and in an effort to keep all individuals safe and to mitigate the risk of virus exposure, the agency is not bringing volunteers into the facility at this time. When the Pandemic ceases, the agency will be so happy to ask for volunteers again.
