Today there was an incident on the property where a fugitive, who was not a tenant, came to Hale Makana and holed up in a unit. The Maui Police department apprehended the fugitive within a short time period. We’d like to thank the Maui Police Department for keeping the tenants, guests, and staff at Hale Makana safe and for their professionalism and speed in which they secured the facility and removed the fugitive out of the unit and off of the property. Assistant Chief Ramos and his team did an amazing job and we are so thankful to the MPD team for ensuring safety for all.
